Why Does Normalization Fail in the Face of Popular Will?

Hawraa Al Massri:
Since the establishment of the oppressive occupation and the emergence of the Arab–Israeli conflict as a major challenge to regional and international relations, the early Arab summits adopted the principle of rejecting the Zionist entity or any relations with it. The “three no’s”—no recognition of the entity, no relations, no negotiations—enjoyed overwhelming Arab consensus. This was the position of the Arab region in the past. However, since the signing of the Abraham Accords, the situation has changed. Some Arab countries have begun normalizing relations and establishing direct ties with the Zionist entity, forgetting that this entity is nothing more than a trap set by Western countries to fragment the region and impose control.
