Leader of the Revolution’s Message After the Wrestling Championship: Emphasis on a Key Point
Winning the wrestling championship at the world competitions in Croatia, and the subsequent message of appreciation from the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, carries with it several points that deserve careful reflection and consideration.
According to the news website Sedaye Sama: Despite the difficult circumstances that prevailed during the months of Khordad and Tir this year due to the criminal attack carried out by the Zionist entity on the country, the sports sector continued its activities. The Sports Federation and various sports programs maintained their work despite the threats. Following the 12-day defense, the Federation intensified its efforts, achieving successes including the global championship of the national youth volleyball team and the victory of the national freestyle wrestling team in international competitions.
Sports, even under the toughest conditions, can uplift the spirit of society and generate immense enthusiasm. Recent championships clearly demonstrated this effect, especially with the crowning of the freestyle wrestlers, notably Amir Hossein Zareh and Rahman Berahm, as world champions.
In addition to the victories, the respect shown by the wrestlers and coaches toward the sacred Iranian flag drew attention, highlighting that pride in the homeland and national values is an integral part of sporting achievements.
