Hamas’s Response to the Action of Certain Countries in “Recognizing the Palestinian State”
According to the news website Sedaye Sama, Hamas issued the following statement:
The recognition of the State of Palestine is the result of the struggles, steadfastness, and sacrifices of our people in the path of liberating the land and ensuring the return of the refugees.
This step must be accompanied by actions to immediately stop the brutal genocidal war in Gaza and to counter the annexation projects in the West Bank and the Judaization of the West Bank and Jerusalem.
We call on the international community to isolate this rogue regime, halt all forms of cooperation and coordination with it, and intensify measures to hold it accountable.
The resistance and struggles of the Palestinian people against the most brutal occupation in contemporary history are a natural right guaranteed by international law, and all countries of the world must support our people.
