Palestinian Resistance Committees: Trump’s Plan Is a Repeat of the “Deal of the Century

The Secretary-General of the Palestinian Resistance Committees said that Trump’s new plan, presented under the guise of bringing peace to the Middle East, is essentially the same “Deal of the Century” that had already been rejected by the Palestinian people.

According to the Sedaye Sama News Agency, Iyman Al-Shashniyeh, also known as “Abu Yasser,” Secretary-General of the Palestinian Resistance Committees, described the new U.S. plan for peace in the Middle East as a repetition of the “Deal of the Century” and a colonial-security attempt to engineer Gaza. He emphasized that the plan aims at the complete destruction of Palestine and the consolidation of Israeli occupation.

He noted that Trump’s plan represents total submission to Israel’s demands and its expansionist settlement project, effectively realizing Netanyahu’s vision to resolve the Palestinian issue and assert control over Gaza with international backing.

Abu Yasser, referring to the attempts to engineer the Gaza Strip based on a colonial, investment, and security-oriented approach, stated that the main goal of the plan is to lift Israel from isolation and expand Arab-Israeli regional coalitions in order to restore the normalization process and the Abraham Accords.

He stressed that the ultimate objective of the plan is to end armed resistance under international supervision and enforce the complete separation of Gaza from the West Bank—a plan that had already been rejected by the Palestinian people, who have made significant sacrifices to oppose it.

In conclusion, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Resistance Committees asserted that what the Israeli regime and the U.S. failed to achieve during the Gaza war, Trump now seeks to impose through political solutions, but these efforts will also end in failure.
