Iran’s national weightlifting team has become world champion for the second time

According to the Sedaye Sama News Agency, Iran’s national weightlifting team won the championship at the 90th World Championships, earning this honor for the second time.

In the points table, Iran topped the ranking with 387 points, North Korea came second with 354 points, and the USA placed third with 318 points.

Our team participated in this edition of the competition with 8 athletes, 4 of whom won medals.

The names of Iran’s medalists are as follows:

• Alireza Moeini: 1 gold medal and 1 silver medal

• Ali Alipour: 1 silver medal

• Alireza Nasiri: 2 silver medals

• Ali Davoodi: 1 bronze medal
