Qalibaf: In Aban Month, Commodity Vouchers Will Be Distributed in the Form of Goods
The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly said: All preparations have been made for commodity vouchers to be distributed in the form of goods in Aban, and the related law will be implemented by the government.
According to the Sedaye Sama News Agency, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, stated in Tuesday’s parliamentary session that during the review of the report by the Planning, Budget, and Audit Commission regarding the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare’s delay in implementing Clause (T) of Note (13) of the 1404 Budget Law, the matter of the seventh development plan, the budget law, and the implementation of ration cards was discussed in the meeting of the heads of the three branches of government.
Ghalibaf emphasized that while the old-style ration card distribution is expected to take place before the end of Mehr (October), all preparations have been made for distributing the ration cards in the form of goods in Aban (November), and the government is responsible for implementing this. He noted that although there were technical and financial challenges, the implementation is legally mandated and will certainly proceed from Aban.
