Russia: We are ready to participate in the reconstruction of Syria.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Russia announced that Syria is in need of reconstruction and Russia can assist in this matter.

According to the Sedaye Sama News Agency, The Russian Deputy Prime Minister announced that discussions have taken place with Syrian officials on cooperation in various fields, including tourism, and that Damascus has expressed interest in receiving shipments of Russian wheat and medicines.
He emphasized that Syria is in need of reconstruction and that Russia can assist in this regard.
Additionally, oil was one of the discussed sectors, and Russia is ready to exploit crude oil reserves in Syria.
Ahmad al-Shar’ (Joulani), head of the Syrian Interim Government, arrived in Moscow today and met with President Vladimir Putin, stating that Syria will resume strategic and political relations with Russia and other countries.
Al-Shar’ added that the renewed relations with Russia focus on the stability of Syria and the region, and that material and strategic cooperation will connect the two countries. He also expressed gratitude to Putin for the reception in Moscow.
