Al-Qassam Brigades’ Statement on Today’s Clashes in Rafah

According to the Sedaye Sama News Agency, The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, stated in a communiqué that the Palestinian resistance remains fully committed to all terms of the agreement, including the ceasefire throughout the Gaza Strip.
The Brigades emphasized that they have no knowledge of today’s clashes in Rafah, as these areas are completely under the control of the occupying forces. They added that since the resumption of the war in March, all communication with the remaining groups in those areas has been severed.
Al-Qassam further explained that they have no information about whether any of their fighters still present in the area are alive or martyred, and that they have no connection with any of the events occurring there.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation accused Hamas of violating the ceasefire and launched heavy air and artillery strikes on Khan Yunis and Rafah.
Hebrew media, citing informed sources, reported that Israeli warplanes bombed targets in southern Rafah in support of the militia led by “Yasser Abu Shabab.”
The Gaza Government Media Office announced that, as of Sunday, the Israeli occupation had violated the ceasefire agreement 47 times, resulting in the martyrdom of 38 Palestinians and the injury of 143 others.
