Registration of 1,400 applicants for electric taxis in Tehran / 1.5-billion-toman loans granted to 420 electric taxi applicants
Mohsen Hormozi, commenting on the latest status of electric taxi allocation, said that applicants must visit banks to complete their files and submit the required guarantees after completing the initial registration process.
He added that the number of applicants for electric taxis has exceeded 1,400, and so far more than 420 applicants have received loans worth 1.5 billion tomans.
The Deputy Mayor of Tehran for Transportation and Traffic noted that around 250 applicants have already received licensed taxis, and the vehicle registration process for other loan recipients will be carried out gradually in the coming days.
He further stated that after the completion of banking procedures and loan disbursement, applicants are referred to the police to submit vehicle scrappage certificates, after which license plates are issued and vehicles are delivered.
