Guardians of the Truth

Mujahid al-Suraymi — Sana’a
There are few knights one can truly rely on to raise people’s awareness, nurture their culture, and shield their minds from ignorance, rigidity, and the infiltration of enemies through media and social networks. Those knights are the ones untouched by doubts, not deceived by lies, not lured by the glitter of falsifying facts, and not toppled by claims of misguidance — because they are believers in their Lord, conscious of their mission, steadfast in their causes, sincere in their principles and aims, and faithful custodians of the rights, sacrifices, gains, and sacred values of their society and nation.
Their deeds bear the stamp of mastery and meticulousness, reflecting the presence of a jihadi spirit as a fundamental trait of their character. Their hearts are open to people: they love them, long for their guidance, desire their reform, and work to provide whatever benefits them in their worldly life and their afterlife.
They are carriers of thought, sources of awareness, advocates of constructive action, and torches of freedom, sovereignty, and independence.
They are messengers of the truthful word and guardians of truth in every time and place. These remain a small, embattled minority — ostracized by worshippers of whims — while loudspeakers, opportunists, those with corrupted consciences and rigid minds, content with form without substance, take the stage.
Those few warrior-guardians of truth are such that when they speak, they do so with justice, even if it concerns themselves or their nearest people; they do not conceal the truth, nor do they bargain to sell it for a small price or a fleeting favor.
They do not lie, nor do they dress truth in falsehood — honesty is their commodity. In their lexicon there is no principle that “the end justifies the means.” The foundation of everything they present as truth, every matter or idea they debate, every cause they adopt, or every negative phenomenon, oppression, or corruption they confront, is evidence — for there is no room for whims, and no possibility of swaying them with money, gains, or other temptations. They have already (figuratively) sold themselves to God; walking His path is sweet to them. With them we achieve holding fast to His rope, with certainty in what He holds, belief in His promises and warnings, and absolute trust in Him alone.
Therefore you will not find them among the audio spaces of social networks or on the visible and audible channels of the enemies, among those naïve people whose only aim is to appear in a manner that pleases the remnants of treachery and mercenary interest and places them in the category of “moderation” and “centrism” — in the imperialist-Zionist sense of those terms. This not only causes them to be affected by opponents’ provocations, but pushes them far beyond that — to the point that they become embarrassed to state the principles and values they adhere to and believe in, the constants upon which our path is based and which are interconnected with our creed — like the head’s connection to the body. Unfortunately, some of them occupy high-ranking positions and extremely sensitive posts in state institutions!
Teach them: there is a difference between inviting and arguing “in the best manner” and renouncing core constants and axioms for the sake of rapprochement with enemies and adversaries; the former is required at all times, while the latter is a fall and a betrayal of God, His Messenger, and the believers.
Moreover, the former opens minds and removes barriers for anyone seeking the truth; whereas the latter destroys a project and — whether you feel it or not — empties the jihadi-revolutionary approach of its content and substance, creating a tremor and rupture in the awareness of your audience among the fighters, weakening the faith-oriented direction and contributing to its retreat and contraction. Whoever holds no sanctity for his project, its symbols, martyrs, revolution, and orientation does not deserve the honor of belonging to them all.
