The leaders of the European troika claimed: We intend to hold negotiations with Tehran

The leaders of the European troika claimed that they intend to engage in talks with Iran regarding the nuclear issue.

According to the Sedaye Sama News Agency, The leaders of the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, in a joint statement, expressed their support for the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, the release of hostages (Israeli captives), and the resumption of humanitarian aid to the region.

The statement thanked President Trump and the mediators — including Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey — for their efforts in reaching the Gaza agreement and emphasized that all parties must fully and promptly fulfill their commitments under the deal.

The European leaders also declared their readiness to further support negotiations concerning the next phases of the Gaza plan and stressed that the UN Security Council should provide full backing for the agreement and its implementation.

Despite their record of breaching commitments in the Iran nuclear deal, the three European powers claimed they intend to engage in talks with Tehran and Washington to reach an agreement that would prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, even though Iran’s nuclear program has always been peaceful.
