Poursalman pledged to win medals in fencing at the Islamic Solidarity Games

According to the Sedaye Sama News Agency, From Riyadh, Alireza Poursalman, on the eve of the fencing competitions at the Islamic Solidarity Games, said:
“The athletes completed their second day of training at the Athletes’ Village, and their mental and psychological condition is good. We have a technical meeting this evening, and the brackets for the épée event will be determined.”
He added, “We are also strong in sabre. There are serious competitors from Uzbekistan, Tunisia, and Turkey in these events, but we are ready and will win a distinguished medal.”
Poursalman continued: “We have also trained well in épée and conducted joint sessions with Russia, so we have a good chance.”
The head of the Iranian Fencing Federation noted: “We have a strong female representative in épée who is working with high morale, and we will also win a medal in this category.”
Poursalman, referring to Saudi Arabia hosting the games in Riyadh, said: “They have tried to organize the best possible program. The hosting is not bad, and they have put in a lot of effort.”
