Tehran’s air pollution index reaches 144 / Capital on the verge of red alert


According to the Sedaye Sama News Agency, According to the distribution map of polluted areas on the Tehran Air Quality Control website, air pollution levels in most parts of the city have exceeded 150, entering the red alert zone.

Based on the Air Quality Index (AQI), when the index ranges from 100 to 150, the air quality is classified as “Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups” and is displayed in orange. An index between 150 and 200 indicates “Unhealthy for All Groups” and is shown in red.
