Supreme Leader: “Our youth are good youth; it is necessary to artistically explain the values of the Sacred Defense to them.”

In this meeting, Ayatollah Khamenei identified one of the important tasks in the current situation as transmitting the motivations and values of the Sacred Defense era to the younger generation. He said: “Our youth today are good youth, and despite the advanced tools available for conveying various contents and concepts to them, they have been able to preserve their religious identity. This platform should be used to artistically explain and transfer values to the youth.”
The Supreme Leader cited the zeal for meeting God and the sense of religious duty among the Sacred Defense fighters as among the dozens of values and motivations of that period. Emphasizing that these motivations should not be allowed to fade, he added that the behavior observed from some cultural and responsible organizations does not demonstrate sufficient effort to transmit the values of the Sacred Defense.
Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that transmitting the values and motivations of the Sacred Defense to the new generation requires artistic work and relentless pursuit. He noted that despite all hardships, poverty, and problems, there are numerous positive points and considerable preparedness in the country to move forward in the path of Islam and the Revolution, which must be strengthened.
He also praised the people of Alborz province, especially the families of its martyrs, and thanked those involved in the Congress commemorating the martyrs of Alborz province.
