A drone attack on an oil tanker in the Black Sea

Reuters, citing informed sources, reported that an oil tanker near a loading station in the Black Sea has been targeted in a drone attack.

Reuters claims that this oil tanker belongs to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.

Last week, unconfirmed reports of a drone attack on an oil tanker in the Black Sea near the Turkish coast were also published. In the past, similar attacks against oil tankers associated with Russia have been carried out and met with responses from Moscow.

Additionally, last month and coinciding with the annual press conference of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Ukrainian military intelligence service claimed that the country’s army drones attacked a Russian-owned oil tanker in the Mediterranean Sea. / ISNA
