Fisheries Entrepreneur’s Proposal to the President: “Silver Oil in Cages”

According to Sedaye Sama News Agency, Mojtaba Hosseini, an entrepreneur and economic activist, presented a special proposal to the President, emphasizing the untapped potential of cage fish farming and calling for the development of the industry’s value chain as a strategic solution for ensuring food security and creating sustainable foreign currency revenues.

Referring to the concept of the “silver oil” of the seas, he stated that the development of cage fish farming could become a reliable alternative, comparable to oil revenues, for the country’s economy.

In conclusion, he noted that activists in this sector consider themselves frontline soldiers of production, employment, exports, and national food security, and are ready to work alongside the government to play a lasting role in the country’s sustainable development.
