15% Reduction in Import Commercial Duties at Imam Khomeini Airport Free Zone

According to Sedaye Sama News Agency, Mehdi Zoughi announced that this incentive has been implemented since the beginning of the current Iranian year through cooperation between the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Free Trade-Industrial and Special Economic Zones and the relevant ministry.

He added that, based on follow-ups with the Legal Affairs Department of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance, the 15% reduction also applies to strategic goods, including vehicles and mobile phones.

The Managing Director of the Imam Khomeini Airport City Free Zone emphasized that, as the only free trade zone in the capital, the area has significantly reduced costs for traders and businesses compared with mainland customs by offering tax exemptions, discounted warehousing fees, and lower import commercial duties.
