Explosion Near Macron’s Residence in Damascus Leaves 4 Dead and 18 Injured

According to Sedaye Sama News, news sources reporting a powerful explosion near the residence of French President Emmanuel Macron in Damascus said the blast caused heavy casualties among forces affiliated with Ahmed al-Sharaa, the head of Syria’s interim government.
Local sources reportedly confirmed that all of the victims were members of forces affiliated with Syria’s interim government led by Ahmed al-Sharaa.
Syrian security sources stated that two explosions occurred in Damascus. One reportedly took place near Emmanuel Macron’s residence, while the other occurred on the route of the French presidential motorcade.
The same sources added that investigators are examining the scenes of the explosions to identify those responsible and determine the type of explosives used.
