Kuwait International Airport Suspends Operations Amid Rising Regional Tensions

According to Sedaye Sama News, Kuwait Airways announced on Saturday that all flight operations at Kuwait International Airport have been temporarily suspended. The airline also stated that the schedules of most of its flights have been changed as a result of the suspension.
In a statement, Kuwait Airways said that most flights have been postponed due to the temporary halt in operations, and revised departure times will be announced later.
The airline urged passengers to continuously monitor the status of their flights.
This development comes as military tensions in the Middle East have intensified significantly. According to the report, these tensions stem from what it describes as U.S. actions in the Strait of Hormuz and attempts to challenge Iran’s sovereignty over the strait. It further states that, given recent U.S. actions, the tensions are expected to continue.
