Railway Cement Exports from Soufian Cement to Turkey Begin

The CEO of Soufian Cement Company announced the start of exporting the company’s products to Turkey by rail, saying that the first export shipment, weighing 500 tons, was sent directly from the factory using freight wagons.

Mohammad Arshad said one of the key advantages of Soufian Cement is its railway line and connection to the national railway network, which allows freight wagons to enter the facility directly and products to be loaded at the factory.

He added that, in order to make use of this capacity, the company’s internal railway lines were restored to operational condition after nearly 10 years, and the first 500-ton export shipment to Turkey was loaded and dispatched through this route.

The CEO of Soufian Cement continued: “In this process, freight wagons enter the facility directly, and the manufactured product is loaded onto the wagons at the factory without intermediate transfers. This can play an effective role in facilitating and accelerating the export process.”

Arshad highlighted the importance of developing rail transportation for export activities, saying that this capacity provides a suitable basis for expanding Soufian Cement’s exports to regional markets and increasing efficiency in the transportation of products.

He emphasized that using the company’s railway lines, alongside the development of export markets, is one of the capacities that can be utilized to increase Soufian Cement’s share of the markets of neighboring countries.
