Tehran remains calm despite calls for unrest

Despite repeated calls from media outlets and channels affiliated with the anti-revolutionary movement to take to the streets and continue the unrest, reports from Tasnim reporters in Tehran indicate that there are no significant gatherings or movements in the capital, highlighting the failure of the chaos project and its inability to meaningfully alter public behavior in response to recent events.
In recent days, hostile channels and media repeatedly issued coordinated calls, attempting to inflame public sentiment and push people toward more street participation by implying that protests would continue. However, the lack of participation from Tehran’s citizens demonstrated that society, as the hidden motives behind recent activities became apparent, clearly delineated its stance against the rioters.
According to the report, one of the main factors calming the unrest has been the exposure of the direct role of the United States and the Zionist regime in directing and supporting the chaos—this time not secretly, but openly declared by officials from these countries. Recent statements by some Israeli officials, including Netanyahu, the prime minister, as well as remarks by Donald Trump, the U.S. president, openly supporting unrest in Iran, revealed the true nature of these activities.
These public positions made it clear to the people that the unrest was not a popular demand but part of an external pressure project against Iran, designed from outside its borders with the direct involvement of intelligence agencies such as Mossad.
As a result, a significant portion of the public, despite dissatisfaction with economic and livelihood issues, distinguished between “protest” and “rioting,” separating themselves from the agitators.
Iran’s historical experience also shows that whenever foreign interference—especially by the U.S. and the Zionist regime—is revealed in domestic affairs, public reaction is not support but rejection and distancing.
This further demonstrates that the open involvement of U.S. and Zionist officials, contrary to the planners’ expectations, backfired and further undermined the social legitimacy of the unrest.
The calm in Tehran today can be seen as a sign of the social and political maturity of society—a maturity that prevents real public problems from being exploited by destabilization projects. / Tasnim
